Kareem is the CEO of Peace Cake. For over a decade, Kareem has been at the forefront of all things digital and digital content; having had his start at Google with a specialization in digital marketing when the market was still in its infancy. Kareem worked through countless companies and projects to build a strategic focus around online content and content consumption. He's also a constant speaker and advisor to the content industry. Working to create content for consumers and companies that fits this modern fast-paced world we’re now in; with almost half a billion views generated and millions of followers growing every day.
Joe spent the better half of the past 12 years working on both sides of the equation; between agencies and matkerting roles, managing accounts like CocaCola and working the client side as a Marketing Manager for Careem Egypt.
As a Co-Founder and Content Lead at Peace Cake, Marwan creates daringly new ideas and sees them until full bloom. As a showrunner for Emsek Nafsak with Hazem, as well as the lead man on many of the ideas we present to Netflix. Since 2010, Marwan has run the gamut of all kinds of film sets, and has built strong ties within the industry that continue to drive Peace Cake. Marwan Imam is also a Comic Artist, Photographer, and Musician. He started as a writer and illustrator of comics and graphic novels, as well as doing stand-up comedy shows. This diverse background makes him an essential asset to diversifying our content and reaching a wide fanbase.
Randa is the beating heart of Peace Cake and one of its Co-Founders. As account manager and Operations manager, Randa is the solid link between Peace Cake and its clients. She is our account lead on Netflix with 9 years experience on various accounts such as Pepsi, Instagram, Opel, Danone, Activia, Molto, Freska, Clear and the list goes on. Recently won Rock the Tok for her work on the Netflix Mena TikTok account.
Safi studied Marketing Communications and Psychology in AUC. He worked in digital marketing for years and then worked in SNL bel 3araby before starting Peace Cake with the fellow founders. Safi has been working with Peace Cake since the very beginning in 2015, he recorded, mixed and mastered all of our content since then!
Not only a charismatic presence on screen, but also a brilliant content lead behind the scenes. Yahia is not afraid to step up with futuristic ideas that make us leap forward, as he believes that the content industry is constantly shape-shifting and we need to be drivers of that change. Quick on his feet and always ready with a good joke, Yahia is one of our most important assets.
Hazem is our senior content lead. Incoming brief? He’s on it. Outgoing pitch? He’s on it. Showrunning? You’ll definitely find him there. The frontman of Elly Faker Faker, Mr. Hazem is an expert in creating content that engages the audience and keeps them hooked.

Both in front of the camera and off it, Boraiy creates excellent content. Because he believes that the content industry is continuously changing and that we must be the ones to lead that transition, he is is not hesitant to take the lead and offer many creative ideas that propel us forward. He never fails to make us grin since he is quick on his feet and always prepared with a joke and sarcasm.
With nearly 13 years of experience up his sleeves and as part of the creative media industry since its beginning, Khaled is the Jedi of our content. Karawya, Editor-in-Chief, works on developing our content to its full potential. By keeping a constant and insightful eye on trends in the market, he makes sure we’re always topical.
As he studied Marketing & International Business at MSA University. He was always passionate about photography and videography. So after he graduated in 2014, He's started working as a video creator in different agencies. He joined Peace Cake during the pandemic and he took the studio by storm considering being our colorblind colorist and senior videographer and editor. He's the main videographer for all peace cake origionals, as well as client work.
Abdelrahman is our content creator who works on commercial retainer accounts like Netflix. He's resposible for copies and conceptualizing creative campaigns. He comes from a gaming and media background, so he knows everything gaming and tech related. Having graduated from law school, worked in gaming media, established his own Youtube Channel and Podcast, he knows all the ins and outs of content creation.
Omar is our social media specialist who helps us access and understand data to make the most of it in optimizing our performance and reach. He’s also one of the most prominent music and documentary photographers in Egypt. His diverse background and experience helps us stand out the way we do today.
With a BA in Marketing and International Business, Kareem has been with Peace Cake for 4 years, sharing his prescient vision with clients, and making sure the delivered projects comply with such vision. He’s handled accounts with industry giants such as Netflix MENA, Sprite, Sahl Hasheesh, TBS, El Gouna, Cipriani, Lamborghini, and Novikov. Being an actor has also made him gain insight into the media industry, making him a continuous source of inspiration for everyone on the team.
Lina studied Communication and Digital Enterprise Management at the University of Toronto. She started with marketing as a copywriter then moved to project management for a bit at an agency in Toronto. As an account manager for Peace Cake, she works with the Netflix team handling Instagram.
Mayar is responsible for any and all things language related. She works with the content team, the account management team, and the post production team to make sure all the company's output is of accurate and linguistically-correct standing. She is responsible for proofreading, amending, writing and correcting copies, scripts, captions and any text. She is also responsible for subtitling, transcribing and translating video content for Peace Cake and Netflix assets.
Mazen studied graphic design at the GUC, and currently works as a graphic and motion designer at Peace Cake, part of the team responsible for handling still designs and GFX for Netflix and Peace Cake
Nada was a major in mass communication, and then went on to live multiple lives for the past 4 years; as a producer, assistant director, content creator and more. And now she's making her way into entertainment marketing as an account executive for Netflix.
Zaina is one of our multimedia specialists, her exquisite taste and quick humor contribute to her superb editing as well as directing. She’s also interested in fashion design. She graduated from Mass Communication Cairo University, and worked as a video editor on several internet shows like El Da7ee7 on Aj+.
Maram is our Business Developer, developing and maintaining client relationships. She's into everything that is about communications and beyond. With 4 years of professional experience in the PR field and a couple of years in the media production scene, she has a lot of connections in the industry that help strengthen Peace Cake's outreach & exposure as well as widening its reach in the market even further. She also represents and manages the talents at Peace Cake and is responsible for their exposure and streamlining their incoming projects as Content Creators. Maram has a bachelor degree in Mass Communication, majored in PR & Marketing from Cairo University.
Nada is our design team lead and art director, she graduated from the High Cinema Institute majoring in animation and film direction. She later moved to the world of digital marketing and advertising since she's in love with the world of entertainement and the internet. She's in charge of making sure that everything you see looks cool!
Halim is a multimedia specialist whose responsibility revolves around creating creative edits and cool effects in our videos. His experience as an actor and standup comedian makes him super relevant and constantly aware of where the comedy lies.
Lojayn is a multimedia specialist whose responsible for creating creative edits. She loves video editing and making fun compilations and quick cuts. She graduated from mass communication and is interested in anything comedy! With 5 years of prefossional editing experience, TV shows, commercials and fun internet promos, she makes sure our content is taken to the next level.
Marwan contributes to writing Peace Cake's content, brainstorming, and acts as a co-showrunner to shows. His past experience in the fields of theater, advertising and directing equipped him with a fresh perspective and a mindset that is able to detect emerging trends and keep up with everything new in the market.
Essam studied directing in the High Cinema Institute in Egypt.Participated in many Film Festivals. Won awards on graduation projects from the HCI. During study, participated as an assistant director in several films and TV shows. He ventured into stand up comedy and comedy writing after graduation, as he participated in Amin w Shorakah sketch show, & several plays and shows. He appeared as a stand up comedian in the Glocal Show, & Gayeen Nehazzar, While working as a copywriter in Mi7, Bee Interactive, and Dentsu Creative.
Aya has 5 years worth of experience working as an executive director and a producer simultaneously. 2 years as a post & vfx producer, and now working at Peace Cake as a post producer. With managing the editing team, she is responsible for the all the video content that we create.
Abdelrahman is our executive accountant & financial accountant, he joined Peace Cake in 2019. Since then, he was in charge of handling accounting transactions, monthly and annual closings, reconciling accounts payable and receivable and ensuring timely bank payments.
With 10 years of experience, handling all accounting and financial matters (Financial planning,Cash flow management, Financial reporting, Capital management, and Financial Decisions and control), Tawfik is our reliable Financial Manager that makes sure everything goes according to plan.
With seven years of experience, Fady is a know it all when it comes to the Audio world. He is known for his work on the Hollywood blockbuster "Allied" starring Brad Pitt and "Takki", a Netflix original series. Fady worked on more 200 titles amassing awards like the EFFIES, D&AD and Dubai Lynx for international clients like Vodafone, Pepsi, Lays and KitKat. Recently Fady won "Best Sound Design" Award in the Seattle Fashion Film Festival for "Time is Eternal" a short fashion film.
